Originally a painter, having graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a degree in Fine Art in 2000, Lucy quickly discovered that her strong and expressive line-work, combined with her love of graphic composition, lent itself much more to visual communication. Based deep in the Scottish Borders, her 'weapons of choice' are charcoal, chalks and inks - anything she can make a proper mess with.

Lucy is also an educator, live speaker, creative consultant and creative health and wellbeing specialist, working freelance for a range of arts organisations and institutions.
