As a long-time Recoat collaborator, Lucy was invited to take part in the Glasgow-based collective's 10 year celebratory exhibition at The Lighthouse (Scotland's Design Museum). Collaborating with Borders fashion label Made in Grey Britain, Lucy designed a large scale visual motif to adorn a vintage wool riding coat. She also presented two framed original collaged pieces, developing the techniques used when working on her solo exhibition (see PIECES). Overlaying layers of textures, varnished hand painted and drawn elements with cut out paper, the compositions communicated untold historic stories of imagined Scottish Borders females. Lucy also took part in a Pecha Kucha talking event and featured in Recoat's retrospective book, as part of the exhibition.
